Educational Colours Pty Ltd has issued a voluntary product safety recall for specific coloured sand products supplied between 2021 and 2025.
Independent laboratory testing has detected traces of naturally occurring tremolite asbestos in some samples of Rainbow Sand and Coloured Sand.
✔️ What You Need To Do
1. Immediately stop using the product
Please remove the affected sand from classrooms, play areas and storage areas straight away.
Do not return the product to Suppleyes or Educational Vantage
2. Quarantine the product
* Place the sand (including open bags) into a heavy-duty plastic bag
Securely double-tape the bag
* Store it out of reach of children, staff, and the public
Do not dispose of the product in general waste

4. Refunds
We will process a full refund for affected products upon receiving proof of purchase (invoice, receipt, or photo of the product).
5. Disposal of the goods

* Please ensure that all quarantined stock is kept securely away from the public, staff and children.
